My course is VERY different and not a traditional curriculum. Firstly, there's no need to know how to read notes/you won't learn how to read notes. Secondly, you'll learn how to play like me using methods I developed all on my own. It completely depends on you! Successful graduates of my 3 step program are spending roughly 20 minutes a day to up to 2 hours practicing. The side of the spectrum you fall depends on if you are a member of the ImprovPianoTips University which will easily cut your learning time in half, if you have any musical background at all, and how motivated you are.

BOTH! I created the courses in a very linear fashion and developed a 3 step program for anyone to follow. If you don't know how to play anything you hear by ear, start at Step 1. Otherwise, start at Step 2 and consider upgrading to Step 3 (ImprovPianoTips University) to get access to mentoring with me.

 I've had many people who were complete beginners use the course successfully. I've also had many seasoned pianists (some professional touring musicians even) take my courses and LOVE THEM.

This is easy to answer. Regardless of your age, if you are willing to put the work in AND pay careful attention to my direction, you will get results. Plain and simple. Your age does not matter.

As a matter of fact, 90% of my students are over 50 years old. My oldest online student is 97. You're never too old to enjoy the piano.

The first thing you will learn is how to play by ear which is the key to flowing and enjoying the piano.

From there I will guide you through left hand rhythm activation, comping techniques, soloing ideas, chord voicings, and much more. Remember, I do not teach note reading. After you've mastered the ideas in steps 1 & 2, I invite you to join my mentoring where you can tell me what your end goal with piano is. From there, I will mentor you and tailor a step-by-step plan to help you achieve that end goal quickly.

Well, it depends on what level you sign up for. Step 3 includes access to the private mentoring group where I can answer your personal questions (normally through a short video I create for you specifically). If you need some interaction and accountability, definitely subscribe to step 3 with mentoring after going through steps 1 and 2. 

OK, so everyone's situation is a little bit different, but let me ask you one question: Do you currently know how to play piano without sheet music? If not, why  haven't you learned? Why can't you enjoy the piano and JUST flow without sheet music? The courses are definitely NOT for you if: 

You want to play classical pieces since my methods focus on FLOWING and playing without sheet music.

You are expecting overnight results with very little effort/work involved this, my friend, this is not for you. I wish I could offer some magic pill, but unfortunately you do have to put in a little effort. I've made the piano learning process as simple as it can possibly be without using sheet music, but you still need to have the willingness to trust me and actually complete all the lessons.

If you have a negative, crappy attitude, please don't buy the course. Life is too short and we probably won't get along, hehe.

First and foremost, I offer a lot of training for free. In fact, I want you to start with the free material so you can really understand if the way I teach piano is for you.

Also, I'm blessed to have retired from my Civil Engineering career three years ago and teach piano online full time. It's my main source of income for my wife, Lily, and Me (and our TWINS born on July, 28, 2021)! So, yes, my courses come with a fee.

There are three different options available. Steps 1, 2 and 3 respectively cost $27 one-time payment, $37/monthly and $97/month.

The lessons are all online and available through your account on the site. That means, no need to pay for shipping or wait on a physical CD.
